The COVID-19 emergency is heavily challenging the way we live. It affects our work, social interactions and especially our educational system. Overnight, parents have become teachers doing home-schooling and teachers have become digital educators trying to adapt our former educational system to the online world.
Despite the challenges the COVID-19 emergency brings about for all of us, there are also promising opportunities. Especially former bricks and mortar universities and higher education institutions can benefit from the current situation, leading to long-lasting, sustainable change resulting in a decentralized resilient education model for the benefit of all.
