And then there was this mail requesting everybody to stay home. University staff, lecturers teachers, students. The whole education infrastructure we knew so well until now had to be transferred within days to the online world. There was panic, there were doubts, but – surprisingly for some – it worked!
Our DEL4ALL digital education experts, Prof. John Domingue from the Open University and Dr. Alex Grech from the Commonwealth Centre for Connected Learning, immediately immersed themselves in the upcoming new online ecosystems. They held and recorded an interesting and inspiring discussion on the future of digital education and on how COVID-19 is going to change the learning environment we know.
