Education is lifelong and must be inclusive and effective. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted
these points in a number of ways. Now, perhaps more than ever, a learner-focused digital education landscape, with pedagogical principles first, is needed to provide inclusivity and effectiveness.
In order to map the landscape of digital education activity in Europe, DEL4ALL worked on the first version of the DEL4ALL Technology vs. Education Matrix during the past months. The DEL4ALL Technology vs. Education Matrix aims to support the mapping of the digital education landscape and will be used to cluster activities, actors, use cases and best practice, to identify synergies and complementary developments, and to determine where (and why) there are gaps in the ongoing efforts. The resulting mapping will help to clarify and prioritise research agendas and policy recommendations to maximise impact.
A White Paper has now been published to set out the concepts and thinking behind the DEL4ALL Technology vs. Education Matrix. You can read the whole White Paper here.
DEL4ALL aims to transform current European research and innovation initiatives in the area of digital enhanced learning into an increasingly cohesive, dynamic, participatory and sustainable ecosystem, capable of effectively stimulating collaboration among all key players in an inclusive and impactful way. We are here to support the digital enhanced learning community in these difficult times.
