As part of the DEL4ALL project, we have developed our next survey focusing on education technologies, such as Blockchain, and their usage, benefits, obstacles, and social impacts on educators and learners in the COVID-19 era.

Blockchain technology brings a number of novel features which can be applied to learning. The immutable ledger provides a secure validation mechanism facilitating trust. Additionally, self-sovereign identity can empower learners to own control and manage their learning profiles and records in an inclusive manner. Smart contracts, effectively immutable autonomous legal agreements, allow for the autonomous transfer of assets. Finally, the peer-to-peer nature of the technology, underpinned by robust distributed consensus mechanisms provide a powerful instrument for decentralising learning and teaching.

Please share your experience with us! Filling in the survey takes about 10-15 minutes of your time, it is completely anonymous, and results will be published in a DEL4ALL white paper this year. The survey is running until 4th of June 2021 and you can participate here.

DEL4ALL aims to transform current European research and innovation initiatives in the area of digital enhanced learning into an increasingly cohesive, dynamic, participatory and sustainable ecosystem, capable of effectively stimulating collaboration among all key players in an inclusive and impactful way. We are here to support the digital enhanced learning community in these difficult times.
