Kevin Wittek is Head of the Blockchain Lab at the Institute for Internet Security at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen, elected member of the Sovrin Steward Council (handling the area Digital Identity and SSI https://sovrin.org/), contributing member in the Trust over IP Foundation (https://trustoverip.org/), the bloxberg consortium (Blockchain infrastructure for use cases in science and academia https://bloxberg.org/) and the Netzwerk Digitale Nachweise (http://netzwerkdigitalenachweise.de/).
After many years working in the industry as a software engineer, Kevin is now doing his PhD in computer science in the field of distributed systems engineering and is an active participant in the Open Source Software community.
