Lecturer and deputy director of the Enterprise Office at Universiti Teknologi Brunei.
Dr. Sharina Yunus holds a doctorate from the University of Bath in the field of Optoelectronics. She is also the founder and president of Learning Ladders Society, which is a society for children with Autism and related disorders. In her spare time, she regularly volunteers to teach robotics to schoolchildren. She is passionate about getting more girls into STEM education.
Currently working on three research projects:
- Development of a tutor bot to assist teaching of STEM subjects in a classroom setting.
- AI and robotics for floating plastic waste management in urban water system.
- ASEAN corporation project on ICT startup problems and developing policy for growth.
